Introduction This privacy policy ("Policy") explains how Dexter Energy Services B.V. ("Dexter Energy," "we," or "us") collects, processes, and protects your personal data during recruitment activities. When applying, please avoid submitting any unnecessary personal data.

Reference checks will only proceed with your prior consent. An employee of Dexter conducting the reference checks may contact third parties (e.g., former employers) with your permission to verify relevant details.

Data Sharing

Your personal data may be shared internally within Dexter Energy Services B.V. and externally with our service providers to facilitate recruitment activities. Specifically:

  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Recruitee (for managing applications)

  • HR Information System (HRIS): HoorayHR (for HR management purposes)

  • Relocation agency: Eres (for relocation or visa or work permit assistance purposes)

We ensure that all service providers process your data securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.



Data Retention

We store your personal data for the duration necessary to complete the recruitment process and comply with legal obligations. Following the conclusion of the recruitment process, we will retain your data for 1 year.

You can request your data to be deleted earlier by following the link at the bottom of your application confirmation email: this is the first email you receive after applying for a job at Dexter.

As we approach the 1-year mark, we’ll send you an email asking for your consent to retain your data for another year. If no consent is given, your data will be deleted automatically.

If you become an employee, your data will be transferred to your employee file and retained per Dexter Energy’s employee data retention policies.



Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  1. Access: Request information about the personal data we hold about you.

  2. Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
