Your team
You’ll be part of the Trade Optimization Product Team, working closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and Quantitative Trading Analysts. The team combines expertise in AI, trading strategies, and software engineering to develop scalable solutions that improve short-term trading results for our clients.
Role overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Trade Optimization Product Team, you’ll lead engineering efforts to tackle tech debt, ensure scalability, and enable better trading outcomes. You’ll work on building new features, optimizing existing systems, and integrating AI-driven bidding strategies into production. This role combines hands-on coding with the opportunity to shape the team’s engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and Quantitative Trading Analysts to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
Break down and structure engineering problems to manage tech debt and deliver scalable solutions.
Proactively scope projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure transparent communication across teams.
Motivate and guide the team to take on engineering challenges with clear direction and ownership.

Role requirements
Experience designing scalable systems with clear, well-organized documentation for long-term use.
Skilled in Python, SQL, and Kubernetes, with a track record of delivering end-to-end solutions.
Experience working on larger codebases, writing maintainable code, and ensuring team-focused collaboration.
Exposure to MLOps, including ML pipelines and systems that support productivity.
Nice to have: Familiarity with energy systems.
