Your team

This position is part of the Customer Success team. This team ensures that our AI-based forecasting and optimisation products are live and running smoothly with our energy clients.

Role overview

As our Forecast Operations Engineer, As Forecast Operations Engineer you will be the key source of knowledge on Dexter’s forecasting platform for our clients. Together with the Customer Success Managers you will be driving our operational excellence and striving for an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible our energy customers' full technical lifecycle: from pilot to integration, to expansion, and to operational excellence.

• The crucial element is operational excellence: ensuring technical integrations progress efficiently and smoothly, monitoring product performance, validating operational data flows, and proactively helping customers where you can.

• You will be an internal product advocate, tracking product processes and contributing to the platform by synthesizing feedback you get back from customers into actionable issues.

• You will be customers’ key source of knowledge on the Dexter platform and APIs, the underlying web technologies, and industry-standard integration methods and best practices.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll at least need:

• At least 2 years experience in a customer facing role in the energy domain, ideally working with forecasting or trading systems

• A university degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a related technical field

• Hands-on skills with Python, and preferably SQL and tools like Pandas or Jupyter Notebook

• At least two signs of excellence, e.g. rapid career growth, experience in high-barrier companies, academic achievements (PhD is a plus)

• Experience working with APIs and navigating technical systems

• A strong interest in clean energy and solving complex operational challenges
