Power up our team
The Engineering Department at Dexter Energy is where the magic happens. Our team of talented engineers works tirelessly to create AI software that predicts and optimizes renewable energy solutions.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join our talented Engineering department, working in the Infrastructure team who ensure the seamless integration and delivery of our groundbreaking AI solutions, making the magic happen behind the scenes. You will be teaming up with Danny and Ricardo, DevOps Engineers, and Jan, our Engineering Manager.
It’s time to amp up your career
In the DevOps Engineer role you will take part in designing, building and maintaining the technical infrastructure that we require in order to allow our product teams to deliver value. Technical infrastructure includes our GCP resources, CI/CD setup, and security components.
You will design, build and maintain our DevOps infrastructure, and assist and guide our product teams on any DevOps-related topics. You’re doing this by advocating for SRE and DevOps best practices.
Your day-to-day work will be focused on Infrastructure-related tasks. You will have the opportunity to improve your core tech skills and work with cutting-edge technologies. Tackling ambitious projects by creating a clear plan for success that others can follow is also a part of your role.

Job requirements
Energize us with these qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and Gitlab
A solid understanding of CI/CD, IaC, SRE and DevOps
Proficiency in Python or experience working in a Python-based environment are a big plus
To be opinionated and passionate about technology, scalability, reliability, security and availability
An urge to automate, document, communicate and collaborate
A passion for renewable energy and a desire to make a difference in the world
